“International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8 to recognize women’s achievements throughout history and across nations. In 2010 eight non-profits banded together with DBA to host the first community-wide International Women’s Day celebration in Boise during March First Thursday. This year the planning committee is comprised of six organizations with representatives from Soroptimist International of Boise, 2-1-1 Idaho CareLine, Girl Scouts - Silver Sage Council, Women’s & Children’s Alliance, Soroptimist International of Garden City, St. Luke’s, and the Society of Women Engineers. Barrel Room No. 6 is Relocating to the Winery!

During the month of February, Barrel Room No. 6 is relocating the swanky red bar and moving it into the winery cellar. The new location will continue to provide the entire Coeur d'Alene Cellars' portfolio of wines, along with small bites to amplify the experience. Weekly live music will continue at the Barrel Room No. 6 - in fact, the winery will begin its first series of winery concerts beginning this summer. Other exciting plans for the new location include "celebrity chef night" where local chefs bring in small plates to pair with Coeur d'Alene Cellars' wines. Wine club members will continue to receive 20% off and priority seating at the new Barrel Room No. 6. Wine specialists will greet you at the winery with their in-depth knowledge of how the wines are made.
