It’s time for the 4th Annual Savor Idaho

4/13/2012

Are you getting ready for the warm weather?

It’s time for the 4th Annual Savor Idaho on June 10, 2012

June is when it is finally starting to get warm outside. The birds are cheerfully chirping and the flowers are all in bloom. It is the perfect time to be outside! So pack up your winter attire, put on your flip flops and head to the Idaho Botanical Garden for Savor Idaho.

Savor Idaho is Idaho’s Premier Wine & Food Event, hosted by the Idaho Wine Commission. At Savor Idaho you will be able to enjoy the magnificent beauty of the newly blossomed flowers at the Idaho Botanical Garden while tasting you way through Idaho’s best wine and food. Savor Idaho will host a number of wineries and restaurants, as well as a number of other vendors. There will be a wine shop open where you will be able to purchase your favorite wines. The proceeds will be donated to the Idaho Botanical Garden, so make sure to have room in your trunk! This is the perfect chance for you to spend time with your friends and family while you enjoy what Idaho has to offer.

Savor Idaho will be held on Sunday June 10th from 2pm-6pm. Tickets will be $45 and will go on sale on March 1, 2012. There will only be 900 tickets available for purchase, and trust us they will sell out fast! You can purchase tickets for Savor Idaho online at www.savoridaho.org, or personally at the Idaho Botanical Garden, A New Vintage Wine Shop and Coyotes Fine Wines.

For those of you who love the Idaho Botanical Garden as much as we do, a special discount offer is available during the month of March. If you are a member of the Idaho Botanical Garden then you will receive $5 off your ticket during March. This gives you the perfect reason to get the family together and head out to the gardens. You can enjoy the lovely scenery and on your way out pick up your tickets for June.

The Idaho Wine Commissions’ goal is to market and promote all Idaho wineries and growers. There are a total of 47 wineries with 1600 vineyard acres planted. The wine industry contributed $73 million to Idaho’s economy in 2008. Visit www.idahowines.org for more information about wineries, vineyards, and events in Idaho.
